Every individual that observes a pattern in nature makes their own interpretation and meaning out of it. Therefore, exploring how patterns occur in nature and to draw an inspiration out of it to develop a basic bodice incorporating the final print.

The delicacy, beauty, and fragility of the bougainvillea can be seen in its shape, both visually and in its texture, while the layers or bracts covering the flowers are deceptive. The path from growing out of thorns into a beautiful form that is so appealing makes the flower self-sufficient in its own words. It connects us to various aspects correlated with life such as the struggles of life, lead us to a prosperous future, the hardships that one faces make a person stronger and help bloom into a beautiful flower. Despite being misunderstood for its appearance yet admired for its elegance, beauty, colour and commonly used as an ornamental plant with various medicinal values, it is certainly a stronger inspiration to bring out the versatilities within it.
